The Burlington Free Press announced the plans of U.S. District Court Judge William K. Sessions III to move from active duty to senior status in June.
Sessions has indicated he will remain active as a senior judge.
Among those asked to comment on the story was Vermont Association for Justice President Christopher Maley who said:
“In addition to a great legal intellect, he brings a sense of humanity which means a fair shake for an individual coming before him.”
